Since the year of 1958, the total sales quantity of “LD”brand toughened glass insulator achieved to a record over 100 millions pieces, it was 50% of the total domestic capacity and one sixth in the worldwide . In the past 60 years, Nanjing Electric has supplied the “LD” glass insulators to many National Key Project such as:”Sanxia Dam project” ，“West-to-East Power Transmission Project”，“Anhui electricity power to east”，“Xinjiang Electricity Power Transmission Project”,”Shanxi Electricity Power Transmission Project” and “North-South Electricity Power Transmission Project”, also made great efforts to the “One belt , One road” and the global electricity development .Since the first EHV project of “Jing-Su”EHV transmission line was awarded to Nanjing Electric ,there were 24 EHV transmission projects were awarded to Nanjing Electric ,including 10 EHV AC line and 14 EHV DC lines. The total quantity of “LD”insulators from of Nanjing Electric supplied to EHV project achieved 4.46 Millions pieces.
Nanjing Electric has advanced production equipment of various types of composite insulators at home and abroad to ensure product quality to meet customer requirements.The number of kneading machines,Open Mill machines,rubber extruder is over 20 sets. The capacity of rubber compounding is about 6000 tons and with more than 20 sets injection machines including 1100KN,550KN, 500KN, 330KN. The capacity of long rod composite insulator is over 1.3 million pieces(Convert into 110KV insulators),We have over 10 sets imported pressure welding equipment with 175/165/140 size and can completely meets the market requirements of all kings if composite insulators.
