Recently, the 5th Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training activity of Nanjing Electric Technology Group was successfully held on the second floor of the canteen. Co-hosted by Nanjing Electric and the Red Cross Society of Qixia District, the training invited an expert,Sun Tingting, as the training instructor, with more than 20 employees from Nanjing Electric participating in this first-aid skill learning. The training activity aims to help participants master standardized first-aid techniques proficiently through professional and systematic theoretical teaching and practical operations, so as to provide timely assistance in emergency situations.

Before the training began, Liu Renxuan, Minister of the Safety and Environmental Protection Department of Nanjing Electric, delivered an opening speech. Liu emphasized that cardiopulmonary resuscitation is the key of rescuing patients with cardiac arrest, and performing CPR within 4 minutes after cardiac arrest is the golden window period of saving lives. He sincerely believed that everyone could benefit from this training.
During the training, the instructor used a manikin to demonstrate the standard operation process of CPR, focusing on key steps such as consciousness judgment, breathing and pulse check, chest compressions, and artificial respiration. In the practical operation session, the participating employees practiced first-aid skills such as CPR, artificial respiration, and the use of AED respectively, and quickly mastered the technical essentials through on-site drills. Such immersive training method was vivid and effective, greatly enhancing the participants' learning enthusiasm.

At the end of the training, the organizer conducted a final assessment for all participants and issued the CPR Training Certificate to those who passed the assessment.
This systematic first-aid training not only enabled employees to obtain the core skills of life rescue but also boosted their confidence and sense of responsibility in dealing with emergencies. Nanjing Electric will continue carrying out such activities and keep raising safety awareness and emergency response capabilities of all staff, which is also a demonstration of the enterprise’s social responsibility.
