The first phase of Nanjing Electric's outdoor UHV test station and demonstration project started

On the morning of March 6, 2020, with the arrival of the first excavator, Baiyun Electric Group East China Manufacturing Base/Nanjing Electric UHV Outdoor Engineering Demonstration Park-Outdoor UHV Test Station and Demonstration Project Phase I (below (Referred to as "Phase I Project") officially started construction.

It is understood that the UHV Outdoor Engineering Demonstration Park is one of the key projects of the East China Manufacturing Base of Baiyun Electric Group in 2020. Among them, the first phase of the project currently under construction has an investment of 10 million yuan, covering an area of 10 acres, mainly for the investment and construction of outdoor experimental equipment, which will enrich the hardware capabilities of the existing national-level UHV laboratory. After the project is completed, the mechanical vibration test and string mechanical strength test capabilities of 70kN~1000kN insulator strings will be strengthened, and the test system will be more complete, which can better meet the routine and special test requirements of customers at home and abroad. At the same time, it provides test conditions for the technical research and development of product operating fatigue tests. In addition, combined with the hardware and human resources of the company's existing national-level laboratories, the company can subsequently expand cooperation with third-party laboratories and carry out external test services.
